What is the continuous sound out of the car that last for about 5 mins whenni turn it off? I've tried leaving in in gear out of gear pressing lock button.. I did ask garage but didn't seem to know what I was talking about Any advice me great.

fan or the AC , esp in this warm weather

It's the fans cooling down the engine components after being run, more common in warm weather and absolutely normal.

Is it diesel? Could be the DPF finishing it's regeneration cycle. Are you doing many short trips?
Could also be the A/C compressor or cooling fan in the current weather.

They all do it, it's nothing to worry about. I can't remember what it actually is exactly, i think its a valve on the right side of the engine that goes into like a cleaning cycle when you switch off the engine
