Apologies in advance if this is a silly question but I just got my learner permit and this is my very first car.

I just bought a Japan imported 2015 Audi A3 Saloon 1.4 TFSI. Automatic and Petrol.

Inside the fuel flap it says Unleaded fuel only but I'm unsure exactly what petrol should I use. I have a Circle K next to my place if that helps.

    Thanks a million in advance

All petrol here is unleaded so you can use any petrol you like

All petrol in Ireland is basically the same , there are premium versions available for an extra cost, wether they do anything for your car is up for debate.

I personally stick to branded stations unless I’m stuck.

Its the green pump, DO NOT use the black (diesel) one.

Just make sure you use the bowser nozzles with the GREEN handles and that the bowser says Unleaded Petrol - not the black handled ones that say Diesel.

And thanks for getting a petrol powered car and not a diesel monstrosity.

Nice first car. Enjoy and take care. As xsapollo says, stick to branded garages

Diesel pump won’t fit in a petrol tank so should be safe there. Enjoy your first car. 🙂

Just dawned on me. There is no need to buy expensive unleaded petrol. Just buy the regular petrol
