My car is being repaired at the minute so I'm going to have to get the LUAS tomorrow from Heuston to Red Cow. As someone who's never had to use it before, where would I get a ticket for this journey?

You buy your ticket on the platform.

Every stop has a ticket machine.

There are ticket machines at the stop at Heuston.( And at all stops).

Just put on your journey details and pay by either card or cash.

If it's going to be a regular journey, look in to getting a Leap Card. It's cheaper.

You might already have a Leap card. You just tag on at Heuston and remember to tag off again at Red Cow

Thanks. It says the Red Line towards Tallaght, so will the tram have Tallaght on the top of it because that's the final destination? I know I get off at Red Cow

Tallaght or City West. They both pass through the Red Cow.

if its a once off pay at luas stop.

if you would rather have a more permanent contingency plan drop into a convenience store like spar get yourself a leap card and pop 10-20 euro on it when getting it. think its 2.50 deposit for the card itself. journeys are about 10% cheaper with leap card.

if travelling with leap card you need to tag on and off at validator.
