I saw the trailer for this a couple of months back and thought it looked pretty good. It's due to release tomorrow but I can't find any cinema listings for it.

Anyone know if it is getting a theatrical release here, or is going to digital instead?

I’ve been keeping an eye out, and so far all I’ve seen is a single screening in the Light House on Monday evening. It may be in some of the multiplexes though - I’m sometimes surprised where things will just randomly show up.

There's a handful of additional screenings added to the Light House over the long weekend, and it's also coming to Triskel in Cork from Sun 11 June.

Saw it the other night and while it's probably my least favourite of the three recent Schrader joints, it's still a thoroughly engaging watch. It's always nice to see an old master doing interesting variations on their comfort zone, and here there's more of a note of hope and optimism than we've seen in the bleaker First Reformed and The Card Counter. Some of the dialogue is goofy and clunky, but other moments zip along with the grace and elegance of a veteran screenwriter doing their thing.
