Stock/Chassis Import

I'm looking at a chassis for my rifle on Brownells.eu, I want to replace the OEM stock and in light of the HC case that a member of AGS took for having a chassis seized by Customs, Am I ok to order the chassis and will I have any problems importing it?

It is for a rifle I am licenced for.

Might seem like a stupid question but just wanted to double check before placing the order.

Yes, it is not an essential component therefore no import permit required.

Thanks Tommy, I thought it was ok, again in light of the HC case, but just wanted to check. Never know what the PTB will do

dalalada, fwiw, I went ahead and ordered the stock from brownells, it arrived today no issues.

Appreciate the reply. I’m none the wiser on whats ok and not ok however. I’m assuming pressure bearing parts are a no no

From the relevant EU directive. This definition is also refered in Irish law under SI.
