Johnston House EV Charger Details (Non Tesla Supercharger)

Hi,

Does anybody know what the non Tesla Supercharger is? I emailed reception but they didn't provide any info other than "For other cars". I am attending a wedding in a couple of days and would be nice to know I could charge. I even asked them to just take a photo but no joy.

Hopefully somebody has used them and can let me know how much power they have and the connection types!

The hotel are quick enough to point out its nothing to do with them. They work and they don't work, try plugging in and see what happens.

Fairly sure they where type 2, there was one car plugged in when I was last there in Feb.

Couple of times I was there it was the second charger working.

Yeah I'm new to the charging game and mistakenly thought that Google maps had all the info, they just showed the Tesla super charge ones. I'll get one of those.

Edit: Zap map only had the Tesla Super chargers :-(

Edit: plug share has them but last comment was not working.... I'll not rely on it! Assume it would be three phase 22kw if it is working, doesn't mention in app

Or, throw a 10m extension reel in the boot and granny charge from the house you are staying in.

I don't have a granny charger, didn't come with the Zoe...haven't resorted to purchasing one yet!

I wouldnt be relying on them with a Zoe, they can be notoriously finicky when it comes to earth detection and polarity.

Yeah I'll make sure to have enough in the battery to get me out of there! I didn't realise that Zoe's were fussy! I've not used many public charge points yet.

The non tesla chargers were both working and one of them was vacent when I arrived, so was very handy. Especially as they are free to use! Just in case somebody else is researching and finds this thread.
