Recommended cameraphone €300-600

Hi,

Currently using a poco x3 and my wife is always telling me the photos I take are poor quality. (maybe it's the photographer 😂) I find the phone a tiny bit too large also so I'm thinking of upgrading. I bought it for €219 a few years ago and I see the new x5 is much dearer. I'm tempted to get a pixel but I find the prices a little higher than what you can get for similar spec elsewhere.

So I'm looking for camera specific recommendations if possible in the 300-600 range. Something that takes a really good photo but doesn't require a really good photographer!
