Connors is on the way back from injury, a long term injury run which he has struggled to get back into form. Getting minutes is his main aim at the moment and this tour is exactly what he needs

Deegan is clearly in the managements focus and especially when you consider the amount of players Leinster lose for internationals etc. Deegan only recently was in Ireland squad as well.

We are getting close to nearly every players in the Leinster squad getting recommendations to move away or looks at options. A hell of a lot of concerns people seem to have for players in the Leinster squad.

The x must move agenda is powerful these days.

Someone said to me yesterday that Larmour isn't in the first team and should move now. When I responded saying he has played in all the European games apart from Leicester(rested i guess) and Racing away(injured I think) that was ignored. He isn't part of Leinster's plans and should move now to get first team rugby

Indeed he should! Lol. Osborne should move too! Why not? Feck it, Leo should cast 40% of the squad off to never never land.

Really? That’s not even close to my impression tbh.

Off with their gooleys! Cast them into the abyss. Adios, you non quality no good rugby players.

Speaking of players on the way out. What's the story with Max O? Is there room for him? Will there be announcements upcoming? I take it that Hanan is through. Would another province give him a look?

I was surprised that Connacht took Andrew Smith. But, a change of scenery and who knows.

Looking at the current u19's and u18's there seems to be a considerably smaller pool of prospects. It's likely that the next few academy intakes won't be very strong.

Much easier than producing your own players I suppose.

Munster seems like a graveyard for talented 10s. Staunton, Hanrahan, now Carbery. Perhaps Crowley ought to look to one of the other provinces for an opportunity to develop. He'd walk into the Ulster team I'd imagine.

What have they done with Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill? She's one of the only analysists worth watching.

I was wondering if Andrew Smith was cofunded with sevens?

He is a regular with the sevens squad. Would a deal have been done that he can stay in the sevens program and be squad filler for Connacht?

I feel like Max O'Reilly could go but Leinster are fairly thin in the back 3 and if Dave is leaving they may just need numbers.

Looked like an early push from the Bulls on that scrum.

Hard enough today even if Leinster played well, even harder when we seem intent on shooting ourselves in the foot in ev very given opportunity...

Let's see if the same rules are applied when Leinster have ball in hand here. Very fussy referring so far.

Leinster on a warning already for repeated infringements

    That's ridiculously harsh.

How did that first bulls penalty become a Leinster scrum?

Think Leinster have touched the ball twice so far, out in to the scrum and intercept!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 12,427 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Just mistake after mistake so far, giving the Bulls easy entries

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 14,381 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Leinster prop goes to his knees before the ball goes in, penalty bulls. Bulls player does the same just there, reset.

Bit frustrating that when Bulls infringe at the scrum its only a reset but when Leinster do it they get punished. Penalty first time and then a free against them for early engagement (even though the ref ignored the Bulls early engagement on the first scrum...)

And now a free kick. Bitta consistency would be nice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,122 ✭✭✭Shehal

Looks Leinster wont just be playing without first team players but also their set piece. 10 minutes in and I dont think Leinster have had any real possession so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

That was a blatant obstruction there ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 12,427 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Leinster offside at every ruck it looks like

Try Bulls. This will be an alright pasting if they continue this way, you simply cant win or even compete at this level without a set piece.

10-0 and Leinster havent even touched the ball yet bar a butchered intercept.
