Boundary wall and dampness issue

I moved into a house about 10 years ago and the previous owner had built an extension at the back of the house, extending the kitchen. As part of the extension, a wall was built onto our neighbours boundary. Over the years everything has been fine but lately we noticed dampness in our kitchen wall and we are 99% sure that the flashing needs to be done on our wall. The unfortunate part of this is that our neighbour is not the friendliest person (he has fallen out with pretty much everyone on our road) and he is not allowing us permission to have a builder go in on his side to redo our flashing. We are in bit of a bind now with this damp wall but no access to fix this. Is there anything legally that can be done here? Any advice would be appreciated.

Legally I wouldn't have a clue how to approach this, you'd need a Solicitors advice here tbh

Speaking on Construction solutions, it can be fixed from the inside, Sealents, Vapour Control Layers, Insulation Board, Vents, etc, without having to rely on the neighbours good will

Hire a Dehumidifier, open all windows during the day, but you might well have tried this already
