Travel to Birmingham/Stafford area. Please help

First time poster so apologies Admin if I'm in the wrong category

I have to travel for work to Somerford Hall in Stafford, UK.

Seems to be quite a rural location. I can fly Dublin to Bermingham and then looks to be about 40 minute drive from the airport.

Anyone familiar with the location? Would a taxi take me that far from airport or is there bus? Not looking to hire a car.

Will arrive to Bermingham airport about 8:45 or so and need to be at Somerford Hall for conference at 10am

Is traffic really bad or would I make it?

Google maps lets you put in departure time to estimate a journey but I'm doubting that you'll make it that soon after landing

Also could anyone recommend a reliable taxi company from Bermingham airport that I can book in advance?

Taxi from airport to your conference location is likely to cost around £80 each way which is pretty eyewatering but is the only way I see you getting there in under an hour. The M6 Toll (think M50) skirts around Birmingham so should avoid the worst of traffic.
