Anywhere near the city to go pet a lamb this weekend?

Is it lamb season yet?

I know there are some farms where you can hold a cute lamb. But do they exist yet?

Sorry my missus saw a youtube video and she wants to hang out with farm animals now.

Rumleys had sheep last time I was there (which was years ago). Plenty of cute puppies and bunnies to pet too. Maybe ring them to find out if they have lambs.

If you're not adverse to a 20mins walk, you could take the train to donabate and walk out to newbridge house & Farm, plenty of open space & cute animals to pet. Not sure holding is an option though

OP here. So I went to Leahy's farm. Was hoping that hugging baby lambs would make me quit eating lamb. But they weren't friendly at all.

Went for a lamb kebab straight after hehe. Gusta's in Middleton, really nice. Got the lamb fillet kebab.

I misread the thread title. Thought it said "where can I get a pet lamb near the city..."

It had me wondering. ...but how long will it stay a lamb for? Someone wants a pet sheep? Is the intention to fatten it up to eat it for Christmas?

Will there be a thread in December asking where to get a lamb slaughtered?

...I think Ill go back to bed...

Just a tip I have noticed on that place. They arent too pushed on you touching the livestock, but dont pay in. A good walk around the farm perimetre will let you see the animals for free.
