Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Likewise on Johnson - he was flagged which is annoying but sure

    Played free hit

    Ramsdale

    Trippier Dier White

    Almiron Son Saka Maddison

    Isak Kane Toney

    Bench:

    Raya Ward-Prowse Cucurella Henry

I was worried about not playing Ward-Prowse. Apparently he has a good record against Spurs. Now Almiron is out, he slots in.

    Must be injured

    Ramsdale

    Tripper Chilwell Porro

    Trossard Saka Gibbs-White Maddison

    Toney Kane (c) Felix

    FH played

Christ thought Botman had pulled something there the way he was hopping but it was only his boot coming off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

Isak close to scoring there. Off the keeper then the crossbar

After a rewatch it took a big deflection from Aurier and hit the post - enough so that it would have been classed as an OG

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

    Referee is having a nightmare

Edit: Hoping for a Newcastle win, have Trippier and Isak.

He just yellow carded a Forest player (Dennis) for nothing.

    Botman you idiot

    Dennis goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,000 ✭✭✭Mr Crispy

Botman howler leads to a Dennis goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

    There goes the clean sheet.

    Dennis scores for Not Forest

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,714 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    Dennis goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Had to be one of the best DGWK trolls to do it as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

Newcastle look dreadful when neither Almiron nor Jolentin are playing. Forest could get another 1 or 2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,147 ✭✭✭Xander10

not too many calm heads out there. wouldn't be a shock to sea a red card

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

Was just about to post the same. Dunno why but I think Burn could get a second yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Isak (Willock)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

    Isak goal

I considered Isak but didn't do it and he has a double next week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

I got him in on the Free Hit at 5 after reading Howe's comments and seeingg his name plastered all over paddy power.

Was gonna get rid of N williams ahead of DWG but might need to prioritise Isak in now.

The ' Bookmark this discussion' gets rechecked every time I refresh the page.

I wrote out a longer comment but when attempting to uncheck the option I accidentally clicked home. Stupid design

Probably time to reconsider Newcastle defence. No clean sheet in 5 games now, after a run of 6 in a row.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

    Anderson goal, Isak assist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Anderson (Isak)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

VAR check for offside, ref looking at monitor

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Varred

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

    Crap. No goal. Burn offside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

Would love to see Isak and Wilson play together upfront. Wilson would definitely be worth getting if that happens

Edit: at least Isak gets the 60 minute point this game. Once he gets to 90 mins per game the matchup might happen (?)

Second edit: Howe said that "while he can manage 90 minutes now, its not 90 minutes of our game style"

Penalty for newcastle - dunno what the forrest lad was at

Does Tripper alwasy take their penalities when Wilson not on pitch?

    Its Trippier

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Isek took ball from Tripper and scored - dunno was that some sort of sportmanship - penalty scored anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,164 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

To allow Isak to compose himself away from the Forest players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

Sounds like Trippier was just minding the ball (sitting in his account like :) )

    Isak goal, no assist

Spot on. Gotta love George Beglin, he said as much. Brilliant commentator

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

As someone who got rid of Tripper on FH, that was a nervous few minutes as nearly everyone has Tripper - had he took it and scored probably 9 pointer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,806 ✭✭✭q2ice

If he had scored he would probably get 3 BPs also putting him at 11

Isak goal was better as not as many have him. Was worried about taking out Havertz but less so now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

yea but the goal is worth 9 points, he's on 2 regardless. unless he missed ha.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,304 ✭✭✭munster87

I imagined a George Hamilton x Jim Beglin fusion! Would work well

    Raya

    Trippier Zinc Mee Chilwell

    Kovacic Martinelli Saka Billing

    Kane (c) Toney

    No subs playing

One of those weekends where I think I have a really good team for the week that's in it, so it'll probably return 40 points or less 😂

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,000 ✭✭✭Mr Crispy

No lunch time match! At least there'll be no early KO captain curse for us all this week. 😬

Not having an early kick off is a pain.

    Kepa

    Trippier, Zinch, Chilwell (c), Mee

    Martinelli, Saka

    Kane, Toney, Havertz

No early kick off, be grand to pass the morning.

    Good luck all.

For those of you playing BB next week will you be using your FT to replace Ward if he is dropped for Iverson today as is rumoured?
