I'm hoping there is an easy fix to this but I have a 322GW front and rear and the front camera is after producing a very dark picture, the back one is fine. Its the same on screen, on live view on the app and when I view the recordings on the pc. Is there a setting that I can change?

Silly point, but you removed the lens protector when you brought it?

I just (yesterday) put a 422GW in the wife's car, literally threw it into the car while parked outside Harvey Norman's in Airside and drove off to test it etc. When I got home put it onto PC and wondered why everything was dark and had a blue tinge. Yep still had the lens protection film on.

BTW Anyone thinking of a new dash cam Harvey Norman provide a free 32Gb Nextbase sd card on a promotion.

Most dashcams have automatic exposure compensation where they try to set the whole picture to an average brightness.

If there is a lot of sky in the picture, everything else will be too dark.

Solution: tilt the camera downwards so that there isn't much sky in the picture.
