Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind (2022 Remix)

The 5CD version of The Bootleg Series Volume 17 Fragments - Time Out Of Mind session was 80% off at Amazon.com last week - got it for $27.

    Fabulous album.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue

Not really a jazz buff and didn't even know this was considered by many the greatest jazz album of all times. But one track came through on my phone via shuffle and I restarted the album and stayed on it. And it was like meditation, unreal album.

Been a long long time since this has seen the light of day.

Agnostic Front - Cause for Alarm

Took me years to appreciate Miles Davis and I got my first Charlie Parker album when I was 17. I particularly love the funky stuff he did in the early 1970's which is worlds away from the 1950's/1960's Kind of Blue first Quintet era.

I made the mistake of visiting some niche record shops in London over the weekend. My brother has the original bought when we were thrash kids but I just had to.

I have that on tape in the attic.

I have crossover, 4 of a kind and thrash zone on vinyl.

False Lankum - It's an extraordinarily good and well produced album.

I wouldn't normally take much interest in the charts but they just fell short of beating Lana Del Rey to #1 in the Irish Album charts this week. 26 sales in it apparently.

Live albums are not really my thing but considering the price of vinyl these days, I spotted this on Amazon for €24 delivered so couldn't leave it there.

Iron Maiden- The Book of Souls Live Chapter.

    A nice pair 😁

I really like this album and the acoustic version is lovely too, with an extra even lovelier track at the end.

Rodrigo y Gabriella's new one, sounds a bit different than you'd expect from them, I like it though.

This really is very good. Elements of Crosby, Stills & Nash but with a Californian girl band indie rock flavour.

    Alice in Chains - Dirt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,960 ✭✭✭NewbridgeIR

Is it now a double album?

I bought the original back in 1992; 58 minutes crammed onto one single LP. There were lots like that back in the 1989-1993 period.

Horns For a Halo by Elegant Weapons.

Featuring Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest, very classic eighties metal sound, not reinventing the wheel by any stretch but good fun.
