Trying to find engine weights, volumes, dimensions

Sorry if this is not the right place but I hope motor-enthused boardsies can help. I'm doing some academic research with a university group for engines and TLDR they want to make a computer model to map out engines on things like horsepower vs. cost vs. weight etc.

But what's really needed are specific stats like engine weight, volume, etc. per engine model # so we can make estimations about their mass and use that to map their mechanical performance in the graphs. While we can work with coarse numbers we still need something reasonable. And without a budget to simply go purchase dozens or 100s of engines just to be weighed and measured, I've started running out of ideas how to come across this data, so I wondered about turning to the DIY scene.

If anyone's out there that can possibly help provide some rough figures - even just for 1 engine, it would be a help. I realize weight might be next to impossible, but if we make some coarse constraining assumptions on our end (eg. engine is made of steel/aluminium and is 50% hollow) we can just use the approximate dimensions of the engine.
