    Just wondering what km range should appear on car dial when battery is fully charged with 32amp household socket. Range of battery is supposed to be 55 km. Getting between 26 and 32 km on dial when fully charged, would think it should be 55km approx.

    I have a Passat GTE, which reported around 35km range on the colder mornings for the week just past. I would say I get 30km actual range from that. I pre-heat the car, but the heating and heated seats are switched on for the morning commute.

    Once the temperature hits around 12 degrees, I only need the heated seats; I get reliable 40km from the battery. When I do not need the heated seats, I am hitting 50 reported with 45-47km actual. When the weather is above 10 degrees, my experience with the 9.9kWh useable battery is six of seven months between petrol pump visits.
