    Rumours Biden is in Kyiv

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Yep. My take on China earlier in the thread was China and the "West" are like that couple who bicker like mad in public, but behind closed doors ride each other senseless, while putin looks through the keyhole pulling the skeleton out of himself. A take I haven't seen reason to change. Back and forth trade between China and the West is over ten times that with Russia and that's befoe we get to all the ancillaries like shared and exchanged intellectual property and the like. EG their incredible high speed rail network owes a lot to Western brands like Seimens and Bombardier. China may be many things, but unwise or reckless it is not. You don't get to be a 1500 year old empire by being either. Plus there's no love lost between them and Russia. Even when they were both waving little red books for the cause and the Soviet Union was a much larger world player and China the smaller their relationship was tetchy.

    Yep.

How does this play out? Seems like a red rag to the bull in Moscow? Though it also shows putin up. He's never gone fa beyond his huge stateroom and desk.

Very interesting that they are announcing Biden while he is still there. Often they only announce high profiles when they're leaving. They must be confident that Putin won't launch anything at Kiev while he's there (unlike the time of the EU delegation) or that they'll be able to intercept it.

He went over to get Hunter's laptop and Hillary's email server

Rumours that he just woke up and thinks he's visiting somewhere out in Virginia are unfounded.

    Biden is in Ukraine?

    Hope someone lets him know.

    Vicshory!

Putin is a dictator. Putin should face justice at the Hague. All good Russians should work to depose Putin. Russias war in Ukraine is illegal and morally wrong.

All eyes are on Kiev today with Bidens surprise visit. Two E-3 's are orbiting near the Ukrainian border, providing situational awareness, accompanied by a Swedish AF Gulfstream SIGNIT asset.

And, slightly off-topic, but surprisingly rare, a Chinese AF Y20 ( almost an exact copy of a C-17) is quietly making its way over Bulgaria from Innesbruk.

Another excellent post - even before the RuSSians were proved to be acting like actual Nazis in Irpin, Bucha, Mariupol and a hundred other places....

    Another excellent post.

It's actually surprising how many people were fully aware of Putin's delusional objectives pre-invasion. I think those nutty speeches before the actual invasion were the catalyst that changed many of our minds.

I would be 99.999999% sure that the Americans are talking to Russians on behind the scenes hotlines and vice versa, just like always. I'd be gobsmacked if putin hadn't been informed of this visit. The whole killing of a US president on foreign soil by the Russians of all people would not be a good luck. WW3 is a go, or bloody close to it, and nobody wants that, including the Russians.

A shot of the Chinese AF Y20 over Bulgaria at 31,000ft. A Royal AF, R135 SIGNIT aircraft has turned to intercept/ monitor the flight. ( aircraft to the south)

The last time this aircraft was seen in NATO airspace was April 2022, when it was delivering Anti-Aircraft missiles to Russian Ally, Serbia. What it was doing in Austria this morning is intriguing.

An RAF typhoon is tracking that Chinese airforce flight out over the Sea of Marmara at the moment.

Biden is in Ukraine, Putin is going to loose his **** ,

Biden was expected in Poland, but this morning in Kiev we had large convoys of civilian cars flying through the city raising eyes brows.

Putin is nothing but talk and a badge. Would have liked to see Joe really rub it in maybe kick back with an ice cream in a local park kicking a ball with a few kids and Zelensky. Putin would have a stroke....

Someone needs to keep an eye on Tucker Carlson tonight he's going to explode when he hears this news 🤣

So going by your flawed logic, no entity should borrow in order to invest in order to create wealth? You're missing a chromosome pal.

Thats so funny that Dark Brandon showed up in Kiev this morning, Putin will be going apeshit. He hates being seen as weak and now the Americans have baited him into visiting Ukraine himself. Could be an opportunity to get him if the intelligence is there.

Bidens approval ratings must be pretty bad if he has to play the Ukraine visit card

That’s an odd way of looking at it.

Another way is that he’s telling millions of battered and bruised Ukrainians that the world hasn’t forgotten about them

    Strange statement.

It sends a very strong message to Moscow and a key signal of support for Kyiv. I thought the timing was excellent.

Plus he's missing the obvious re manufacturing; who is buying the manufactured goods and who is profiting? It's not Russia. Apple makes iphones in China, throws a huge markup on top and that cash flows into America Inc. coffers. But now since places like India and Mexico have cheaper labour, outfits like that will just move to such places. As always. Apple's already thrown billions at India and even China seeing their demographics and wage costs are looking to "do a West" too, looking to regions like Africa. The products may be made in [insert nation here] until costs rise and that's moved to [insert nation here], but those who are behind the products stay the same and from the same sources and the money flows back to the same sources. And again Russia isn't one of them.

The singular problem for the "Multipolar" world Russia forever conspiracy types online is; it's already a multipolar world, but Russia is only a small part of it, unlike when it was the USSR. Hell, it's not even the biggest player in BRICS.

900 billion. Wow that sounds like a lot.

Except it really isn't. The USD GDP is more than 25 times that amount. US debt is more than 35 times that amount.

    Next!
