Won't make next seasons CL if they don't change their form quickly.

Wow 4-1. Was expecting a reaction from Milan.

There's an edge to this game. Wouldn't be surprised if we get a red card before long.

    5-1! Wow, this a drubbing.

5-2. Probably the goal of the game from Origi.

    It ends 5-2. Crazy game.

Next weeks the derby. Pioli will be gone if they are this bad again.

Milan are a joke shop. Pioli's limited ability being found out this season. Even though spurs aren't playing great they will absolutely wipe the floor with them in the champions league.

Milan would have to be at their absolute best to beat any English side. Even an average Spurs will decimate this Milan.

This is why I love this sport

    What a goal in Naples

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,785 ✭✭✭The Golden Miller

Napoli unreal, delighted for them that they'll finally win it. It's been coming for years.

As I said many times last year about Milan, the weight of history carried them. There was a desperation to level the title count with Inter, had the bit between their teeth. But a limited side really, and that urgency is gone.

Need Champions League badly, if they miss that money could go back to where they were for the last decade. Mourinho should of went to Milan, would of been the perfect fit

They are damaging their legacy of being Europe's best side in history @The Golden Miller

    Spezia vs Napoli

    Torino vs Udinese

    Fiorentina vs Bologna (Derby Dell'Appennino)

    Milan derby (Derby Della Madonnina)

Fixtures on tv today. Have a feeling the Milan derby will be dreadful after. Hope I'm wrong. Looking forward to the choreography before kick off. They might as well just give Napoli the scudetto and be done with it.

    Napoli just gone 2 up.

    16pts clear.

Great to see a fantastic footballing side get their rewards.

Would love to see them do the CL double too.

Osimhen with 2 more goals. Not many players in his position with that quality at 24. Going to be one hell of a battle for his signature in the summer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,545 ✭✭✭dor83

I wouldn't be surprised if he stays, he'll be a god to the Napoli fans and there's potential in that side to win in Europe too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,785 ✭✭✭The Golden Miller

Going from bad to worse. Mightn't see another big push until Inter win the league again and they are forced into action. The attitude for years seems to be "even if we're bad at least Inter are too, when Inter push on only then we will". Get buy on spending as little as possible until then.

No good them being in Europe either if they can't get top 4 every year to build on it. One eye now also on Champions League which is only a distraction now, with top 4 in the balance.

Said it many times last year, the pressure from fans and the weight of history carried them, but limited team. They had no option but to win, gave everything every game, that urgency completely gone once they levelled up with Inter on Serie A's

They are pitiful to watch tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,393 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Gattuso got the sack last week. Could be well timed for a caretaker job at Milan.

I missed the derby tonight and I don't even care which is a sad place to be in after the optimism of a few months ago.

Can see them giving Spurs too many problems.

Milan are in big trouble for CL qualification at this point

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,951 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Don't deserve it playing like that.

Gattuso shouldn't be let near them. Mourinho was the ideal fit and they should try poach him. Match made in heaven

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,785 ✭✭✭The Golden Miller

If the San Siro on European night can't prompt you into action you may aswell pack it in. Absolute colosseum, baying for blood it feels like. Fans right on top of you. I remember being there and warnings that if you've vertigo don't go onto the 3rd tier. Think only the Mestalla is steeper

Spurs turned them over circa 2011, they'll do them comfortably in London. But there should be a huge performance in Milan. You'd think anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,951 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

I've been in San Siro a couple of times myself, and it is an amazing place for a big match.

But unfortunately, watching Milan games the last few weeks, I just can't see them troubling Spurs unless there is a serious improvement in their game compared to recent weeks.

Another shockingly unconfident first half from Milan tonight.

At least it is still 0-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,393 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

1+0 thanks to Giroud. A sense of relief rather than joy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,951 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

I said a while back that Spurs would have no problems with this current Milan team.

Watched Spurs today. Think it could be an even enough game now!

No one has any idea of how Spurs will play. They could put in a performance like today or a performance like when they beat City last week. Or even something in between. They are impossible to fathom atm.

Delighted to see Lecce hold on against Roma. That 4th place spot still wide open.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,089 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    What an awful awful match

I just dont understand how Sampdoria can be so negative when they need wins to escape relegation.

15 point gap for Napoli now.

It will be some set of parties of Napoli get 5 games to celebrate the title.
