Anyone imported an Evo or WRX

Hi, has anyone imported an Evo or Subaru Impreza Wrx STi?

I'm getting tempted to import one from Japan. However strangely the VRT calculator doesn't list either, in spite almost all of them in this country would have been imported.

Revenue delete VRT stat codes from their system that haven't been used over a certain period of time. I'd imagine it's been ages since one of those has been imported as I'd say the VRT is eye watering these days. Might be better asking over in a specific Irish owner's forum, I'm sure there are a few.

If you contact JDMauctionwatch, they are always very helpful, they might be able to give you a ballpark figure since they bring in so much stuff.

I'll speak to them tomorrow. Have actually already been in touch, I have my deposit in with them to be able to bid on a car. Was looking at a BMW Active Hybrid 5. A stark contrast to an Evo/WRX I know, keeping my options open. I can either be slightly sensible or go balls to the wind. 😂
