Don't listen to his radio show but Mark seems like a good egg, regular poster on the Motors forum. Hopefully he's managed to turn his hobby/side hustle into his main gig.

is he going to another station? Maybe Q102 down the hall.

He does run a YouTube good channel. I would expect the direct income from a channel of that type of size to be nice, but not substantial and very variable. Maybe there is some contribution from the car manufacturers as it helps with promotion of vehicles?

What is Mark Noble's radio background?

Leaving FM104 after 25+ years - that's a long stint.

I was wondering what his radio experience was before that. I thought I had read somewhere that he had been with Atlantic 252, but I'm not sure about that.

He had a variety of shows and roles there:

Music Director

Assistant PD

Presenter on the Strawberry Alarmclock, the Jam, weekends, overnights

I only listen to Lyric Fm .Classical music is supposed to be good for the body so it's a win win with Lyric Fm.😉
