Miso paste

Any where in Dublin to get decent quality miso paste or is all pretty much the same?. In Asia market there seems to be just the one type..

Ideally to cook with but for gut health too, So second question is, if you cook it in soups etc are you not killing the beneficial bacteria???

Miso should be eaten uncooked and soups usually have a high amount of sodium.

You add miso paste just before serving the soup, you don't want to boil it, just let it dissolve while the soup is still hot.

I've had the Tesco miso paste in the past, it was fine for me, but it's been a while since I used it. I got Clearspring miso from Evergreen and really liked that. I prefer yellow/white, it's sweeter than red miso, which I find a bit too pungent.

Miso itself is quite salty AFAIK, so if you have to watch your sodium you probably need to be cautious of miso as well.

But you do have to watch the sodium potassium ratio or proton pumps won't work as it should as result bunch of issues...

Any idea of the brand on that? Nothing shows up online but with difference franchises having different stocks it is not reliable like Tesco site.
