Hi everybody, I need advise on what to do with LTD company, it was opened 3 years ago, we filed one annual return (company did not do anything)and have done nothing since with that company. We didn't even file annual returns for the last two years. I heard that, if company does nothing for couple of years it will be just shutdown automatically. Is that true? or what is the easiest way to close it down? directors are not even in the country anymore. thanks

You wont be able to do a voluntary strink off if the annual return filings are not up to date. You can either pay the fine for the unfiled years and pay for audited accounts to be attached (expensive even for a non-trading financial statement) or else apply to the District Court to have the time for the annual returns extended to allow you to file the annual returns "on time".
