I have never had any problems with CDkeys with regards to getting a refund or buying codes.

There was that 1 time a few years ago where the code would not work, emailed them, tried everything they asked, still didnt work and they refunded me.

I use them for pretty much all my purchases such as DLC or Xbox Live.

Does it not work if you don't let it expire first. What would happen if I just added 12 months gold to the account before my GPU expires?

Thanks for that. Bit of a novice here. I have never went about setting up a vpn before. Would I be right in saying if I followed the steps in the link below I would be sorted?

It's cheaper to only get Gold, but the benefits of GPU are mich greater. With only Gold you'll get 2 poor free games a month and lose access to about 150-200 games from the Ultimate sub.

Let it expire and buy gold instead. Once you've activated gold buy a month of GPU to convert all your gold sub, much cheaper than buying GPU directly.

It'll work, but that is a trial card and won't convert Gold to GPU. If you still have the €1 sign up available on your account you're better off using that, after you've stacked 3 years of Gold.

Just a question about this. I stupidly took the 1 month initial offer of ultimate for 8.99 with my sons xbox. If I now buy the Gold subs and stack up to 3 years ,will I still be able to upgrade to Ultimate for €1 or have I missed my chance?

It's just €12.99 instead of €1, but see if the offer is available first for €1. Still works out at great value.

Try a different vpn, I find TunnelBear doesn't work for example but Urban does.

Vpn IP addresses will get black listed if everyone’s at it, the smaller vpn’s can work better more often than not

Sounds like you've only bought one month at a time? Best way to get gpu is to buy xbox live gold (shop around and you can get it cheap, cheaper again if you get it from Turkish sources), and then after it's all applied pay for 1 month of GPU - Microsoft will convert all xbox live gold to gpu. You can stack up to 3 years of live gold and convert that all to gpu. Don't pay for gpu up front, will cost you more.

Check online for the offer if not redeemed before. They may have dropped it since everyone was at it! No biggie if renewing for a full month price if you’re converting gold for 3 years tbf

Mine is up in July, have seen some people say they have contacted support and cancelled their subscription so that they can start the 3 years again just in case the conversion goes soon and possibly unannounced.

Might be worth doing if you've only got a few months left, I'd imagine the "cost" you'd be losing out on is far out weighed by the benefits of another cheap 3 years of ultimate.
