Does Ian Bailey count as Irish?

No, Marie Farrell would be much better to talk to. The stories she could tell. None of them true of course but entertaining nonetheless.

Spike Milligan or Hitlers half Irish nephew.

Maybe the two of them together.

Great shout. He'd have a few scéalta that would put everyone else in the ha'penny place.

I'd go with him, or Trevor Deeley

    I’d say Colm Meaney too… I’d say he’d be pretty easygoing company…

For a bit of good natured craic: Dara O'Briain, Colin Farrell & Jamie Dornan all seem like well natured sorts.

To talk about their profession etc: Tom Crean, Roy Keane, Sonia O'Sullivan, Veronica Guerin

I'm sure there's plenty of others that I'd happily be a on fly on the wall listening to their stories, gossip & scandal

I wouldn’t say there is any harm in him but I’d say he’d be as tough on the old ears and brain in real life, considering he doesn’t have an ‘off’ switch.

” go on, yeah yeah, now tell me, is it going to be one or two pints at last orders, I don’t know, I’ll be up all night going to the toilet a an an the missez won’t be comfortable with that now, jayziz, maybe a drop of jemmie to eahhhh, sure I’ll get a package of Tayto, I have an unmerciful gooo on me for a package of crips, now if we only had a sliced pan, wha! “. “ they only have King ? Jaysizzz merciful hour, what’s the world coming to ?”

By all accounts Brendan Gleeson is a wonderfully pleasant man.

I wonder if Roddy Doyle would be as interesting in real life as some of the characters in his writings.

He's a bit of a grumpy sod in real life, you'd see him the odd time in a few pubs around (Dublin) town and the North Inner City (regularly drops into Madigan's beside the Savoy on O'Connell street for example). While I wouldn't call him out as being a nasty person, he's not exactly approachable. Maybe it's the years of having to put up with people shouting "Georgie Burgess" etc. at him while going about his business.

He was a right prick of a teacher, though, by all accounts.

As odd as it sounds. I'd like to see if I could get anything out of Larry Murphy.
