Graduate Industrial and Employee Relations Specialists in the Civil Service 2022

Hi everyone,

I have applied for the above post in the Civil Service and have been allocated a final interview in January. I was hoping to get some information if anyone can shed some light on what the interview may be like. The grade you begin on is AO.

Any tips or guidance would be appreciated!

Hey! How did you get on after? I just got word I was successful after interview. Do you know where we will be located or how many they are taking on?

Hey! I passed the interview as well, OOM 3 😁 they didn't say how many they are taking on but I asked during the interview where we will be based and they said it could be in any department really, a stint in the WRC and then possible visits to Labour court.

No I haven't either.. PAS told me to email Dept of Public Expenditure's HR but then didn't give an email and there is none online.. it said they commence in March though so maybe we won't hear until next week?

Hopefully we hear back soon. Maybe it's late March. Who knows. But hopefully we will find out either way soon. The wait is killing me.

Same as! Just got the Garda Vetting email there as well! I have a HEO interview on Monday as well so if I'm successful in that, I am not sure what to do 🤷‍♀️

Be careful, the minute you’re an AO, you are ineligible for internal HEO. I’d ask LHR or PAS what the timeline for the HEO is.
