Looking at houses in the Ballyboughal area and when looking to see what broadband services are available all I can find is that providers are only offering up to 50Mb speeds.

It also doesn't look like the area is being included in the NBI rollout to get high speed fibre broadband.

What options are available in the area to get high speed fibre broadband?

Have you checked out Imagine or DigiWeb both of these providers offer some wireless options. I'm surprised you don't have other options from EIR and the rest of the incumbents when you are practically at the front door of the greater Dublin area.

I am in the A$$ end of Roscommon, and my only option was to sign up for Starlink. This works great; however, the initial setup is 600 euros for the kit and 85 bucks pm afterwards.

The speeds I see as I type this message are 260Mb down and about 30Mb up.
