If Newcastle reach the league cup final, then Brighton at home would be part of that DGW (GW 25 fixture). Possibly with Southampton at home or Leicester at home (based on GW 34 & GW 37 usually being the big DGWs).

I really wouldn't even when he was fit and getting starts he was only getting 60 - 70 mins a game and himself and Rodrigo where rotated a lot in between games.

And then you have him missing big chances left right and centre he is not a fun own.

If Haaland doesn't score today then is it worth continuing to have £12m invested in him. They really are not impressing and he seems to be struggling as there's no plan B of how to play him.

Also have Raya in goal who's currently set for a clean sheet and all 3 bonus points.

Currently on 82 for the gameweek with Odegaard and Martinelli to go.

who knows, maybe there is something in contract and Pep's not happy about something so isn't playing him, play x games salary goes up etc, and/or showing Cancelo that they don't need him, or there is an agreement that he goes in the summer so Pep planning ahead

I reckon he's just been dropped for poor performances. He's quietly had a bad season overall, performance wise. The Portugal manager also dropped him for the knockout games in the World Cup.
