Has anyone any experience with green motion car rental at Edinburgh Airport? There seems to be a lot of bad reviews on trustpilot.

There awful pure scammer. Do not rent from them

I was renting from them and few days before the day I was renting from them email came saying only vehicle available is no joke 9 seater Mercedes sprinter after I booked a ford Mondeo or similar

There prices are cheap for reason

Personally I never had a problem with enterprise

Hi

Used them once in Edinburgh,

Booked a passat/mondeo sized car Sunday to Friday , E65, flight was a little late and the counter agent was busy dealing with another customer so had to wait a while.

Got the counter, all the passats (or similar) were gone, so ended up with a new 3 series M sport automatic.

All Ill say is take pics of the car before you leave and make sure when you hand it back that they acknowledge zero damage.

"Green Motion" is interchangeable with "scam-merchants" on public forums and in the media.

Taking pictures is waste of time with green motion there business model is scam people there reason why there cheap

Green motion was on watchdog over in UK (Irish rte primetime)

There Facebook page about them too scamming people

Unless you rub their noses in it.

Drive the car up to the cabin/office and start taking photos of everything. Under bumpers, roof, skirts, engine-bay... you name it. And also report every mark that isn't on the claim sheet.

They'll mark you down in the book as being pedantic and you won't get any hassle on return unless you actually crash the thing.

I've used them half a dozen times or so from Stansted airport and never had any issue. I always found the staff extremely friendly
