Water softener newb question

I have been using broxo 6-15 for the last few years as recommended and no issues with it other than price.

Most retailers are near 20 for a 25kg bag now which is almost double what it was. Looking for alternatives I came across meinsalz salts for 10 for 25kg.

I fee like I must be missing a trick - why is it so much cheaper?

I use Axal Pro in my softener.

It's’s around €10 for 25kg bag. Recommended by my installer and stocked locally.

It's just salt....

Sorry to jump on this, looking at water softener and just pulling prices together on salt

I have found bags cheap, I am just wondering are you better off paying for more expensive? ay difference?

The Broxo for instance from same supplier is 16.60?
