Travel Insurance for USA?

Heading to the US shortly, will be taking a cruise from Miami. Any recommendations on who to go with for travel insurance. Have a couple of quotes from AA and annualtravelinsurance (who are Blue Insurance from what I can see) and there is around €60 difference for an annual policy for much the same cover. Anyone have any experience with these companies and how easy/difficult they are to deal with?

Personally I'd take out the best I could afford.

Get a quote from VHI multitrip and see what they come back with.

I'd probably get cruise cover too which is an add on.

Yes the quotes I have include cruise cover, just wondered if anyone had experience with having to claim from either and how easy/difficult it was to deal with

Make sure there is plenty of medical cover included and that the excess isn't too high.

Someone else's experience might be entirely different to yours ie: policy wording, reason for claim etc so it would be like comparing apples with oranges

Yes of course every claim is individual. Was just querying as a whole really some companies are easier to deal with than others
