Coal sitting in a wet shed corner - will it be ruined?

Hope it's okay to post this here, closest forum I could find for this issue.

Ordered 2 bags of coal which were delivered this evening when I wasn't at home. Upon looking into the shed where we keep the bags, I discovered the coal man didn't deliver it in bags at all, he just left a big pile of coal on the floor of the shed! I'm mystified as to why this happened as we have gotten it for years off the same company and it has always been in bags.

I'm not happy about this because it is going to cause a huge mess of black dust everywhere and the shed was only recently cleaned out and powerhosed before winter, and also I have no way of even knowing what the amount actually delivered was.

But the main worry I have is, the corner of the shed the guy dumped it onto had about 3 inches of water on there prior. I noticed it the other day but hadn't a chance to see where it's getting in from, it's just in the one corner. I know wet coal is usually okay when it's wet in the bag it still burns fine, but this stuff is sitting in a puddle, and as I don't even put a fire on every night, 2 of these big bags would last me 3 weeks at least.

Will the coal sitting in that water ruin it?

No it will be fine when it drys.

If you could get a pallet and put it up on that it will be ok.
