GoMo WiFi calling

Works fine on a Samsung for me

It's up and running for me on a Redmi K30pro running xiaomi.eu miui 12. I had to enable the WiFi calling option via the dialler code *#*#869434#*#* Once you dial, you'll get a small notification saying “Vowifi carrier check was disabled.

Then into SIM settings to switch it on and select mobile/WiFi preference.

I also got the email a few days ago. OnePlus 7T but cannot enable it. The *#800# brings me to a different screen than in that article, just logs, no Function Switch.

When I go to Display>Status Bar>Icon manager I can see VoLTE and WiFi Calling switched on to appear in the status bar but they don't appear there.

Like the other OnePlus user *#*#869434#*#* does nothing for me.

Has anybody been able to set-up WiFi calling on a Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 ?

VoLTE does not show in the settings.

Anyone know how to do this on a Moto G7 Plus? Can't seem to find the option. Maybe it's not possible...

I have a similar problem on a OnePlus 6.

Update: VoWifi (Wifi calling) is great. After a couple of weeks use it is a pleasure to have full coverage for calls. No negatives as far as I can tell.

It was worth buying a compatible phone just to get this function.

The following applies to GoMo but is probably true for other mobile networks as well:

One thing to watch is that when you are abroad WiFi Calling routes calls back to Ireland on IP network and then emerges on the phone network as a call from Ireland so instead of a free roaming call within your bundle you may be charged for an international call from Ireland. Best to switch off WiFi calling when going abroad.

WiFi calling not working on a redmi 13 pro on Gomo. Phone won't ring when connected to WiFi. Worked on old redmi note 10. Any ideas why?

I've a Pixel 6 Pro and turned WiFi calling on a week or so ago, was working fine. Then this morning I went to connect to my work VPN and there is 2FA on that process where you get a phone call and have to confirm you're connecting... the phone just never rang. Tried it 2-3 times and nothing, then turned the WiFi off and it worked fine. I'm just leaving it off now, I don't really need it where I live. Might be something up with WiFi calling in general today though.
