By the sounds of things, he was never particularly close to William and saw him as a rival in many ways. Their so called close relationship pre-Meghan was a media invention.

The very nasty, in bed with the devil thing her husband is claiming happened to them via his Dad and Brothers press offices i.e. having staff engage the press in order to plant stories. She had her comms director meet a member of the media (Omid Scobie) who was writing a biography about them. The extensive notes provided were briefings about her relationship with her father and half-sister. It was them getting information out there but covering up any involvement. Her father and half-sister are regular people. To be briefed against was unnecessary. The difference here is that all of the above is verifiable as it came out in Court whereas Harry hasn’t given any specifics about what stories or information got planted about them. Perhaps some projection is going on there.

Because he was an asshole. Wedding are complicated things. Plenty of family members who the bride or groom think are assholes get invited to weddings. It's pretty much part and parcel of nearly every wedding.

I know. There only contact has been via phone. I don't see how that is being "nasty" though. As I said, maybe Meghan deep down knew what an asshole he was capable of becoming so wanted to protect him.

When you look at the actions of both parties I really have no idea how any rational thinking person would say Meghan has been the nasty one while Thomas is the poor innocent one.

it was the most revealing part of the entire interview. Meghan quite clearly inferred that people were racist within the family in that Oprah interview. it's on tape. you cannot infer anything else from what they were saying. every media outlet in the world - tabloid, paparazzi or broadsheet - came to the same conclusion. and he knows what his wife said and clearly inferred. what else are you supposed to conclude from the accusation that there was 'concern over Archie's skin colour'?

You have to ask why there was ''concern over Archie's skin colour''? My interpretation is that the RF are terrified of what the tabloids/paparazzi would do to the child and RF was black. And there is evidence that it would certainly bring out the worst of the press and a section of the British population (some jounralist from the BBC tweeted a photo of Harry & Meghan bringing a chimp out of the maternity hospital (the journalist got the sack). Now if a journalist from the BBC can stoop that low, you can bet your bottom dollar that the DM, express etc. will be well able to stoop lower.

With that kind of carryon is there any wonder that the RF might express concern over the child's skin colour.

King Harold of Norway (whose daughter is engaged to a black man) came out and defended his future son in law against the racist slurs he was getting and announced it was unacceptable. King Charles is afraid to do that for his daughter-in-law and grandson because he doesn't want to antagonise the press and their ability to generate money from disparaging his family.

There is no proof whatsoever that the RF had any concern ( as you put it) over Archies skin colour. We only have Megs word on that - lets face it she may be unreliable as she has lied on other issues. If the RF had a problem with Megs skin colour the wedding would not have been allowed happen. The RF gave the marriage their blessing and welcomed Meg into their family.

Saw an article last week which said that apparently Charles and Camilla were supposedly heading towards divorce in 2018 until she threatened to blab about royal secrets.
