Climote and gas boiler died - no heat for 3 days

We were having problems with our boiler (the pump) on Friday and guy called out on Saturday to check it out. Thought it was the pump - got it going but said pump will need replacing but also added there could also be a blockage. After he left radiators upstairs were heating but not downstairs (not a zoned system). Shortly after that the Climote blacked out - no problem with the fused - just died.
Will we need electrician to sort controller before gas service can repair the boiler or will gas service company be able to fix both?

Gas tech should do both. Ask at time of booking a callout.
