Indicator stalk issue 2007 kia ceed

Hi, I have a Kia ceed 2007. The indicator stalk does not automatically cancel when turning right when driving. It cancels automatically when turning left though. The really odd thing about this is when the car in the stationary position and running it cancels when I turn the wheel. Very confused.com…
any ideas? Thanks
