Sports Direct Wrong Order received

Ordered from the Sports Direct website and got delivered the wrong item. Went into their website and its cost €7 to return it even though it was their fault

Delivered by Fastway and no ring on the doorbell just left outside!!!

Emailed sports direct but no email confirm back of receipt.

Can items bought online be returned to their shop in Dublin or has anyone had same experience and what have they done?

I understand my rights just wondering users experience with Sports direct as I think I heard their online separate entity to their retail, which maybe bull$hit. Just looking for users experience

Yes directed to a bot. Then you have to email them with picture of wrong goods. Did that but didn't get confirmation receipt of mail.

Tried calling them no answer try tomorrow.

My question is can I return it to shop in North Earl Street. If not should be no cost to return as their mistake

Based on my own experience, which I won't go into in detail, the answer is you can return the item to a shop all right, but you won't get a refund or exchange there and then, and could be waiting months.

Basically, they'll just offer to send it back on your behalf, when they're next doing stock returns - and they'll probably tell you that happens once every three months or so. And then when the return is processed at the other end, you'll have a refund issued to you.

So technically, you could return the item to the shop all right, but then wait three or four months. Or you could just send it back yourself. That's what I did in the end.

So sent them all the pictures etc. I dont want a refund just an exchange for the item I purchased. They did not have size in their shop in city centre so ordered it online

Just a pain in the A that them asking to pay to return item they sent incorrectly. Not a present thank F so see how long before they respond

Got onto them on twitter and they gave me code for free postage. Dropped it off at parcel connect location. Told once they get return they will send me the correct order
