Online Child Benefit Application

Hello everyone, I have been trying to apply for child benefit online for 1 week but I get an error as "The services you require are not currently available online, Please note that you can only avail of this service if you have been invited to apply for Child Benefit." Hello everyone,
I have been trying to apply for child benefit online for 1 week but I get an error as
"The services you require are not currently available online, Please note that you can only avail of this service if you have been invited to apply for Child Benefit."
Did anyone get this error before? Is that application removed from online permanently or it is a temporary issue?

Fill up the application form in paper form and send it in by post.
