Flavoured Marmite

Any ideas?

What could you mix in with marmite to ring the changes?

All I have come across is a sauce for fried chicken which has cardamom seeds,martini and cream (plus the deglazed chicken juice)

Marmite is such an untouchable item (unless you are Australian) that it is hard to imagine any modification.

Had anyone tried?

There was a Guinness marmite and also a marmite "extra" or something like that.

And you have marmite peanut butter

Maybe Siracha Sauce marmite?

Do you mean uses for marmite, OP, or how to alter the marmite itself?

I don't know, I'm a little adverse to the stuff. Is it good for roast potatoes? I think I might like to use a smidgeon of the stuff, but I haven't experimented with it.

Bacon flavoured marmite?(disgusting?)

Chicken flavoured marmite?

Don't think I would use it for roast potatoes although I used to mix it into mashed potatoes a very long time ago.

I even used to make a drink out of it the way others made a bovril drink.

I pick up a few jars when I'm in the UK. I don't like it but my son likes Peanut butter Marmite and occasionally Chili Marmite.

Me I stick with Marmite flavoured Marmite ;-)

Walkers had Marmite crisps a few years ago strange isn't a strange enough word to describe that experience.

Yes ,cashews are pretty bland and benefit from absorbing other flavours.

You can't have any taste buds cashews are great on their own? While I love Marmite cashews are one nut I wouldn't mess around with additional flavours.

I love cashews, raw or roasted and salted. Great flavour.

When it comes to flavours messing about is the main game in town I would have thought.

Walnuts ,hazelnuts ,brasils, pumpkin seeds are all less bland than cashews but roasting or salting does make them less bland.

OtheR nuts too seem to be less bland than cashews.Cashews have a very good texture though.
