Named driver moved overseas

My DD has been a named driver on my car for several years and she has just moved to Australia for a year. I don't want to break her cover by notifying my insurers that she has gone overseas. What are the implications for her if I remove her from the policy? If she returns next year (as planned) will the break in insurance…
