Buying Tractor in Europe (VRT and anything else)

Don't forget to factor in the cost of a new pick up hitch. Headlights will need to be replaced too, if you're doing any road work....

European tractors never have a pick up hitch fitted. You'll need the whole hitch. Better be sitting down when you price it!

Headlights on any vehicle are designed to throw the beam away from oncoming traffic. In our case, that's to the left. They drive on the other side of the road over there, so their lights will throw the beam towards the right.

You'd probably get a hitch at a breakers. Still might be expensive but I'd reckon those machines are old enough that there are a few of them knocking around breakers yards.
