BMW 640i, but what is it?

Can anybody tell me what this is?

It's a BMW 640i coupe, I know that much. But is this an aftermarket body kit, a special edition, or a tuner such as Alpina? Been looking through Google Images and can't find another one like it.

It's for sale in Japanese auction site, 2nd one I've seen like it. Looks nice imo, but no idea what it is.

Wald body kit, veeman alloys. Not special edition, just modified.

Think road tax just fits in the €750 bracket, if not then €1200

Biggest obstacle would be VRT, the website doesn't list them at all from Japan or anywhere else. So could be any amount.

Nice looking car I think.

unfortunately you wont know vrt until the revenue are looking at it as its not standard

Aren't the Japanese fond of bodykits? I remember seeing some SpeedHunters photos from Japan and there was loads of Liberty Walk or Rocket Bunny kits on stuff, everything from GT85 to 458s. Got the impression it was common enough.
