In a packed terrace you have less breeze hitting you directly compared to sitting in a stand.

And as LO said in a terrace you can move about even when standing in almost the same position.

If you haven't already guessed I'm a big fan of viewing a game from the terrace 😁

Not ideal but I'd go South but they're kind of a mirror image of each other with zero cover so it's really up to you. There used to be a wheelchair section on the south terrace so it might be possible to stand behind that and have an unhindered view of the game.

The benefit of viewing a game from behind the goals is you get to see the space and what teams are attacking and you're closer to the try line & goals that one team will be playing into.

There was a time when a stile for entering the North terrace and the east terrace was the same and you could sneak into the east terrace once you got into the stadium, I'm not sure if that's an option nowadays but might be worth trying.

There are still some east terrace tickets available for next Sunday or as you say you could get them for the Saints game

Can't go wrong with a Heineken Cup match especially against an English Team. Go for it.

West Terrace is the best of the terraces. Usually a bit of shelter in the event of wind & rain.
