Thanks for the tip iamstop, hadn't considered audacity, I'd been trying to use movavi. I'll definitely have a look at my options in the next few weeks, although generally I want to avoid getting into post-editing, I tend to like them warts and all!

I hear you. I'm generally the same but I detest 5 or more seconds of silence at the start of a mix when I press play. So I trim the silence off at the start and since I have it loaded up I usually normalize the volume if it came out a tad quite. Trim the dead air at the end if there is any and export as .wav

Job done.

I don't usually get into any detail with editing, only if there are some really obvious and annoying artifacts in the mix that I feel will detract from the over all mix and listening experience.

I am looking for another free to use platform that will now flag tracks for copyright. Any ideas?

The last 10 years+ of using Mixcloud was a golden age. I'm glad I got to upload over 130 mixes. Still sad to see it go. I'm not going to upload any more there so that all 136 shows will still be visible to the public. If I upload any after Dec 1st only the most recent 10 will be visible.
