So the Ferrari Daytona is 90 quid off its ridiculous 450 euro price for the VIP weekend and I'm tempted. Just wondering If I might see it lower in Smyths or somewhere for Black Friday. Its 400 in Smyths normally so even a 50 quid discount gets it lower than the current price on lego.com.

Do you need it in a rush? Or are you willing to wait? Argos, were selling it for 315 with an additional 10% off a few weeks ago. I think smyths were also selling it for 315 at the time. If it was me I'd hold out for closer to that price again, you could be waiting until after Christmas though

Wondering similar about Roller Coaster... And also tempted by lighthouse although no discount there. Don't forget to factor in 2 GWP plus also there's a set you can buy for VIP points this weekend plus double points I think.

No no rush. Didn't know it was going for that low. I'll wait it out so.

Where did you find their IOSS number on the website Dave? I paid the charges and got the packages today. There's nothing on the packaging that clearly states an IOSS number or that EU vat has been paid from what I can see but I don't know what should be on the labelling to allow An Post to know that the VAT has already been paid.

Sorry, I hadn't seen your reply.

Under their contact us page - https://gameofbricks.eu/pages/contact-us

    IOSS number: IM2330000380

    VAT number: EE102374579

There may or may not be any number listed on the shipping label itself, but it should be included in the information provided when actually buying the postage label, An Post/Revenue would be able to see all of the details in the decleration. See Royal Mail and An Post below.

Thanks Dave. They actually came back to me this week and admitted they made a mistake with the shipping. They let me choose a new set for free by way of apology and gave me a 40 euro voucher.

Oh nice, good result all around then.

    Looking at this set

But I've never ordered from brickshop.eu

Anybody any experience of them? It's for Christmas so delivery times would be important.

Same here but they were smart in regards the code I watched it on a YouTube video before hand but didn't take much notice that the code is 10 letters/numbers so it's a bit different then the usual codes you would get which are usually 12 so I had the knight VIP special from a few days prior got as well but you cannot stack them in one order you have to do them in 2 separate orders so smart on lego that you would have to do 2 orders to get them both and I got the code for the lego camera and same deal 10 letters /numbers in that one so will have to do another order on that but I will hold off until January on that one.

I'd love to know how a digital code to get €5 off can be "sold out" :/ I wouldn't mind but I was looking at it when I was in work yesterday afternoon and was like grand, I grab the 4 of them when I get in this evening. €20 off for the price of what would normally be €5 is decent enough but nope. Didn't say it was limited stock, or limited availability, or first come first served just

During Black Friday weekend 11/25-11/28, you can redeem 75% fewer points for money off your next purchase at a LEGO® Store, LEGO.com or on a phone order! Maximum 4 discount rewards per VIP member.

Ah well, I'll know for next time 😑

I used points to redeem 1 €5 voucher. Is it possible to use multiple vouchers in one transaction? So I could have gotten 4 and used them all at once?

I used them this time last year and set was delivered very quickly. Had it the week after purchase.

Would anybody know- the free gifts that come with a certain spend on the website, are they valid/same in the store?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,367 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

Not necessarily. As a general rule, most of the time they are though. Each GWP will state if they are in-store and/or online.

    Great thank you

just made an order for the Starry night (surprisingly no price rise for this huh) for the missus and some lego wall hanger + CINCH BUCKET (didnt see this before and it looks good for storage ha) with a couple nice freebies:

You've qualified for a Winter Holiday Train (30584)

You've qualified for a Fun and Funky VIP Add On Pack (40512)

    You've qualified for a Santa's Workshop (40565)

You've qualified for a LR PIRATE ADVENTURE RIDE (5007427)

    You've qualified for a LEGO® Fleece Blanket (5007622)

I actually claimed one more fleece blanket via reward so I will buy something in Jan ha.

Quick question and apologies if this is the wrong thread to be asking in.

Are there any bricks and mortar stores where I could pick up the Back to the Future set at short notice or is the Lego website the only option?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,037 ✭✭✭Jacovs

There are 2 of them for sale on adverts. 1 in Limerick, 1 in dublin, both looking for €200. Both says brand new in box.

    If that helps.

That's a nice haul I saw that as well, I'm 117 points short to get the VIP fleece blanket. If I was near the lego shop I would buy something for about 20 euro to get the points on straight away then just do a 200 euro order online to get all the loot you got above plus the VIP fleece. Have gotten the daughter the star night for Xmas as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,358 ✭✭✭seraphimvc

the blanket actually looks nice (not sure if it is the same design from last year), and missus thought so too so ya. Will report back if they are actually nice ha.

Double VIP points now active until Tuesday. Raging though, I was going to get the McLaren F1 Technic set during black friday weekend when it was down to 160 and use their points offer to get €20 off for the price of €5. Those digital vouchers ended up selling out, so I said right stuff it, I'll get it again at some stage but at some stage last week I went back the Lego site and saw that I had five items in my basket instead of just the one. Had a quick look at old emails and VIP GWP calendars and I couldn't see that there would be another double points for Christmas so just said feck it, I'll get it now with all the freebies, the blanket, the holiday train, Santa Workshop etc.. Was on back order until today too. Might chance my arm on the chat if when it dispatches and the points get added to the account.

Should have just gotten it in Smyths and be done with it. :D :D

Had the same dilemma with some Christmas presents, but didn't want to risk it in case shipping would be slow. Chasing 2 x Vip and gwp's is a like a dog chasing its tail.

    For Star Wars fans,

    Jan 2023 wave has leaked,

only a few sets till March/May : 501st bp, Tie Bomber, x-wing polybag and slave-1 microfighter. I'm not a fan of Tie/Imperial ships but I'll have to get it for the new Admiral. My table in the Death-star is getting pretty full.

I'm glad it's not the biggest wave out in January. Probably will cost 100 to 120 the most for them all. I think the tie bomber looks cool now but looking forward to a proper review on it.
