    Hi,

Wondering would these rise in value much? Only 750 minted, which is very low.

A new commemorative gold coin to mark 100 years since the establishment of the State has been unveiled by the Central Bank.

The centenary coin, which will retail at €1,225, is struck in 999.9 gold to proof quality.

It will be limited to 750 pieces and it will be available for purchase from 30 November through www.collectorcoins.ie.

    Thanks,

    Pa.

There is a mailing list which offers members first choice on new coins. I used to be on it. No sign of this one on the website, so probably all booked up. There were two previous €100 gold coins, 1916 and 1919 commemoratives limited to 1,000 pieces each. They are on eBay etc for up to €2,000.
