Trying to add pressure to boiler

    Hi,

I have a baxi megflo combi boiler with low pressure. I was told to open the red valve in the attached image to allow water in to the system and get the pressure up, however when I do this, nothing happens. You can see in the image a water regulator with a gauge reading zero. I have tried opening/loosening this as well, but this also has no impact.

Could the water regulator be faulty and not letting water pass?

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

It could unfortunately, they can be inclined to stick. I am not familiar with the particular model shown, but most have a hand oppressed valve on the body - the blue plastic piece in the photo, is this definitely open?

I've had to do similar to my system when I had some leaks... I had a top yo valve which I'd use regularly enough, and then suddenly it stopped working as it had seized up (If you have hard water in your area, its most likely seized with limescale).
