Normally i would be v.reserved and cynical of someone who has a high profile,

but if ever someone deserved a state funeral,it's her...refused to sign a non-disclosure and only for her hundreds of women would have been let die uninformed

Great woman,who should be a nobody like the rest of us,not have had to go through what she did

Sad to read this today. I’d hoped she’d have another Christmas. Very glad she stepped back a bit to look after herself and spend her time with her family, she gave so so much.

heartbreaking to see her kids left without their mum at such young ages. Much sympathy to them and her whole family.

RIP Vicky, what a warrior you were, we won’t forget you.

It's very rare that someone I don't know dying makes me sad, this is definitely one of the exceptions. R.I.P. and my condolences to her family and friends, she was such a brave woman. 😭

Was glad she got to enjoy a private family road trip holiday to Donegal during the summer, largely away from the media, but posting the odd snippet, and got some lovely family photos.

A very brave, honest and inspirational woman who should never of had to endure what she did. She went above and beyond to highlight the gross negligence of the health authority here in handling cervical cancer sufferers in this country and to bring about change.

Refused to be silenced and fought like hell. Tears today of course, but the memory will endure long beyond that. A state funeral should be done imo.

Very very sad. The system let her and many other Women down. If she had of been diagnosed right in 2014 she would more than likely still be living g a full and healthy life.

I agree she deserves a state funeral.
