Where buy upstairs wooden window safety restrictors?

I have to fit safety restrictors to some windows, see the regulations below. The windows are all wooden, I need to fit 8.

Please can you advise me where I can buy these?

Regulation

Upstairs windows - where a window has an opening section through which a person may fall, and the bottom of the opening section is more than 1400mm above external ground level, suitable safety restrictors shall be fitted - required whether or not children reside in the dwelling. Safety restrictors shall limit the initial movement of an opening section to not more than 100mm to prevent such falls.

Safety restrictors should comply with EN 1628: 2013 'Child protective products — Consumer fitted child restraint locking devices for windows and balcony doors should meet safety requirements and test methods'

Safety restrictors should be designed specifically to operate on the types of window on which they are to be installed

Note: Window Restrictors being fitted should NOT be key lockable to aid emergency escape in the event of a fire

OK thats weird because I'd been looking at these and they all had locks most were tested to EN 16281: 2013. Only the big ugly looking opening restrictors didn't need a key and I don't remember any that mentioned testing.

Thanks, @Doop I got those screwfix ones but having tried to fit them / looked at YT clips they seem setup for PVC/plastic windows, but there is no room for them with just a narrow grove along the facing outside that is 2 thin for the restrictor to fit in. I got the right hand ones and have 6 windows to fit the all open from the top (like a bathroom window). How do I fit to older wooden windows? Are you meant to take the windows off and route them :-(

Most of the listings for those fittings indicate that they are specifically for uPVC windows.

They generally go on the underside of the window...

@bluefoam thanks. I could show a picture but no room on the underside - it's a standard wooden window with the window coming into a wooden frame with no room for extra stuff. If anyone knows of what restrictors I can use for wooden windows please shout! Thanks!

You probably need something more like this. The restrictors above only really work with PVC windows as there is a gap between the window and frame generally.

Agree not easy on the eye but it's just an idea of what he needs to look for for his style of window i used ikea as its one of the easier ones to get. Other companies make them in different finishes.

No worries, be wary of the key lockable ones as if this is for a rental property you will still fall foul on an inspection (due to the lock)
