Was over near Pouladuff Road this evening just before 9PM and heard what sounded like a huge explosion. Was quite scary to hear. Anyone know what it was or where exactly it happened?

I heard it too but actually forgot all about it until I saw this thread. I live at the eastern end of Ballinlough near the Silver Key, about 3.5km as the crow flies from Pouladuff Road. It was bloody loud!

It could possibly have been a firework. Halloween is just over a month away!
