Married name query

I am considering changing my surname on my bank account to my married name but will be keeping my maiden name professionally/at work.

Would there be any issues in having my salary paid to an account in my married name if my work records are in my maiden name?

We would advise contacting Payroll within your work and let them know the name change on account once it has taken place.

Thanks for the response. I contacted my employers payroll and they advised me to contact my bank to confirm that it would be accepted…🤷🏼‍♀️

As the payment is coming from Payroll, they will need to update the name change on their side first to ensure no disruption to your incoming payment on your account with us.
